Girls’ Generation Performs at ‘SMTOWN Live World Tour III in Tokyo Special Edition’
On October 26th and 27th, Girls’ Generation and their SM
Entertainment labelmates returned to Japan to perform at “SMTOWN Live
World Tour III in Tokyo Special Edition”. Taking the stage the Tokyo
Dome, the artists entertained fans with many amazing performances on
both days.
Girls’ Generation performed a setlist that included their popular
hits including “FLOWER POWER”, “GALAXY SUPERNOVA”, “LOVE&GIRLS”,
“PAPARAZZI”, “I Got A Boy”, “Kissing You”, and many more. There were
also a number of special stages with collaborations between the stars of
SM Entertainment. Tiffany and Super Junior-M’s Henry performed a cover
of Ariana Grande’s “Almost Is Never Enough” first. Later, Seohyun, while
playing the guitar, and Super Junior’s Kyuhyun took the stage for their
own version of Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Beautiful”. Hyoyeon took part in a
powerful dance battle with the other SM Entertainment groups’ main
dancers and Girls’ Generation – TTS performed “Twinkle”. The concerts
concluded with the final stage consisting of the entire SM Entertainment
family standing together singing “Hope”.
Super Junior’s Heechul posted a photo of himself with Sunny on his Instagram account
following the October 26th concert. Taken backstage, he wrote, “SMTOWN
in Tokyo Dome. Sunny Sunny Sunny I love you~ I need you~ with Honeypot
Soonkyu. Soonkyu is cute cute. My face is pale….”
Super Junior’s Ryeowook also tweeted
a number of backstage photos with Girls’ Generation members. He took
photos of himself with Jessica and Yoona, Sunny, Hyoyeon and Yuri, and
finally Seohyun.
